It's probably a good time now to be the best me I can be.
These are frightening times, let's admit it.
Even if I know intellectually that covid-19 is less deadly than influenza, it is also true that the disease is having a field-day because it's new. The weapons we've built up against influenza over the generations don't work against covid-19. That is why we have a pandemic now - and also because we can travel across the globe so easily nowadays, and covid-19 has an incubation period of two weeks during which you still feel fine.
So yes, frightening times. I feel nervous whenever I think about the state of the world right now. I mean, a pa

Wake up. Survive. Sarcantasy.
Heyyy, my dear followers! This week, there's a little bit of forward movement for my interactive illustrated story, Sarcantasy: the first volume -- Wake up; Survive; Sarcantasy is queued for printing as we speak and should be making its way to me for final review in two to three days! This first book contains chapters 1 and 1a of the story, as well as some bonus materials: Character Builds, a scholarly analysis of the Deadman Order, and an introduction to Stained Glass and Twin Shards as written by Delar Kinless.
With the dead tree format on its way to me, I thought I should show off the cover image. I couldn't have completed it the way I wa

Supporting Working Artists: Issue #2
how does this work?
Take a look at the artists featured below, add this journal to your favourites and leave a comment on this journal explaining who you would pick if you won, and why. On May 2nd a winner will randomly be picked. You will then be prompted to discuss what you would like from the artist you chose. Now of course there are limits to this, as you will see below, the artists explain what you could win from them, so you must carefully read that. The Community Relations team will be paying for the artwork you end up deciding on and receiving. So your favourite artist will be getting paid for their work, as they should. Indeed, this
The single best thing a therapist ever told me. by Taralen, journal
The single best thing a therapist ever told me.
So this evening I was talking with my current therapist and she asked me a question no other therapist asked me before: to tell her the disadvantages of having solely online interactions/relationships.
I listed some of the basic ideas like how you can't be there for them in person, how you can't see their faces and see their true emotions, etc... But the best thing she ever said was when I ran out of things to list, and I feel it's one of the most important things any of us, regardless of where your standing is in life, to remember:
She said that one of the biggest problems that comes from a lack of in-person interactions is the problem of
If you want to hear some music that I feel helps set the tone of EVOLONN, I've made some playlists you can listen to if you have Spotify or download the app for it.
I regularly add new songs to the lists when I find good songs to match for either the Evolonn list or the character inspired lists.
I may periodically add new lists if I find enough songs for a given character or configure a new list that I feel needs to be added.
Hope you enjoy the lists I made  Happy listening!

Meet the Characters of Evolonn 6: Camilla
Woo! It's been a while since I did one of these :D
I try to wait until I have enough decent pics/ refs of a character before I do one of these, I guess ;P
Anyhoo, Here's some fun info about Camilla, a supporting character of EVOLONN.

Camilla is one of my favorite characters, both in design and in personality. She looks extremely vicious, but she has a kind heart which sort of puts her at odds with the Evolonnians, but she is loyal to them to a fault.
-General Info-
I created Camilla when I was around sixteen years old. That's probably back in the year 2000
Waking without waking, open your eyes
The first hint of waking stirs the hive
A thought a wasp, drone fills your skull
What wasp knows the pattern of the swarm at all
A thought a wasp, and wasps we dread
Confusion seems chaos, it fills your head
Awake, awake, and stir the hive
So now all we buzz, "Is this my life?"
We stir, we swarm, confusion seems all
As we cripple, paralyze, there's no honey
And the swarm drones on.
